About

An Authentic Village Farm

AAV (An Authentic Village Farm) is a working model of sustainable livelihood and its economics is based on Cow. We try to showcase here how a Cow can bring considerable changes and prosperity in one’s life. If all agriculture land holders follow the practice of keeping desi cow, how the health, wealth and environment improves significantly. We feel this change in our lives and hence propagate this message.

Our Specialities

Cow based economy model

At AAV we not only use cow and cow urine for producing organic manures and pesticides but also use it to produce fossil free bio gas and hence contribute in CO2 control. To understand how cow based economy model works :-

  • Cow Milk : Indian Cow milk contains A2 type protein breeds. Due to this desi cow milk is in high demand and fetches good money to farmers. Milk products like ghee, paneer, butter, curd, etc. also fetch good amount to the farmers
  • Cow Dung : Compost & fertilizers made from cow dung are organic, natural & cheap (Close to Zero investment) sources to increase yield for farmers.
  • Cow Urine : Cow urine is like Amrit for farmers. Farmers can sell cow urine to many Ayurvedic companies where it is extensively used for manufacturing of medicines. They can achieve close to zero spend by using insect repellent produced with cow urine
  • Farming : Farmers can save money by employing oxen of Indian breed as they have high working capacity for longer hours in all climatic conditions. Farmers need not invest in tractors or other machines
  • Medicines : Medicines prepared from cow based products are excellent alternatives to costly chemical based products floated in market by big companies. Farmers can limit their spend by producing these medicines at almost zero cost at home.

water harvesting

When we purchased this land we had no idea about its ground water table, this came to our notice when we checked water for a borewell, we has very little water not even su􀏬cent to cater to our cattles needs forget about the plants, trees and agricultute. We than adopted water harvesting technique, and today we have enough water. We recently built a water reservoir which we also use as a splash pool. This pool is connected with pipes all around the farm to meet our agricultural water demands. Water Harvesting Pond Splash Pool
